School Council
The School Council is a democratically elected body organised in a way to enable every child to have a turn as a councillor during their time with us. Representatives from each year group have a ‘Pupil Voice’. They gather concerns, ideas and areas that they want to work together to improve. Recently they have had the job of deciding what the new playground climbing apparatus should look like.
In the past they have worked together to spend the ‘Sainsbury Voucher’s to ensure that the play equipment meets the needs of all the children in the school rather than just a few and in this way they understand practically what a fully inclusive school looks like.
