Headteacher
Miss Stella Villiers is the Headteacher at Burton Green C of E Academy. Miss Villiers is responsible for the day-to-day running of the school. She brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been a teacher across all year groups and a member of staff at Burton Green for over 20 years.
Assistant Headteacher
Mr Nailor is the Assistant Headteacher at Burton Green C of E Academy. Mr Nailor returns from a year away having lead KS1 in a different school. He has taught a range of age groups from Year 1 to Year 6 and brings a familiarity for the children. In addition to his experience, Mr Nailor also has an NPQ in Senior Leadership. He also teaches Year 5 and 6 full time.
SENCO
Mrs Cox holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs Co-ordination, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Dyslexia and Literacy Difficulties (ATS) and has particular experience and interest in Neurodiversity, especially Autistic Spectrum Disorders. She has a passion for maths and specialised in this subject when training to be a teacher.
Early Years Coordinator & Maple Class Teacher
Mrs Carroll is our very experienced, and highly regarded, Early Years Coordinator. She is the class teacher in Maple Class, our mixed age Preschool and Reception class on Monday to Wednesday. She works closely with parents to ensure the smooth induction of children as they enter school.
Cedar Class Teacher
Mrs Wilcox is our class teacher in Damson Class, our mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class. She is also the leader of the My Happy Mind programme at Burton Green, as well as our Rights Respecting School Ambassador, committed to progress Burton Green C of E from Bronze to Silver accreditation.
Cedar Class Teacher
Mrs Greig is our class teacher in Cedar Class, our mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. She is the subject lead for Music and PSHE. Mrs Greig is an experienced member of teaching staff who currently works Monday - Wednesday in Cedar Class. She now shares a leading role in our Key Stage 1 classroom.
Class Teacher & Educational Visits Co-ordinator
Mrs. Bonnett is one of our experienced class teachers, now sharing a lead role in Key Stage 1 - Cedar class. Mrs Bonnett has a wealth of experience having taught in 3 of the 4 classes at Burton Green over a number of years. She is also our Educational Visits Coordinator, ensuring any visit children undertake is fully risk-assessed.
Burton Green employs well qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants (TA). All of our four classes have a class based TA who works with all children in focused teaching groups in mathematics and English. Strengths of the school as a result of TA support include differentiated teaching of phonics, intervention groups to provide additional experiences to some pupils in reading, writing and mathematics. Some Teaching Assistants are also employed on a 1-1 to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

The Caretaking and cleaning team comprises of Mr Andy Moseley our caretaker/cleaner.
The school employs a team of mid-day supervisory assistants, who are responsible for the care and supervision of the children whilst in the dining hall and when playing outside, at lunchtimes.
